The ‘John Wilson Room’ is a spacious, cheerful room on the third floor with antique furnishings, hardwood floors and vintage quilts,and features a beautiful queen-size canopy bed. There is also a twin-size daybed in the room if traveling with a child. Front and rear windows allows the soft summer air to flow through the room, although you are free to use the air conditioning should you choose to. The John Wilson Room includes an adjoining private bath with a wonderful vintage marble sink and an antique footed tub that has a modern update to include a shower.
Named after the owner of the Great Valley House during the Revolutionary War, John Wilson, a Tredyffrin Township resident who was raised on the Wilson Farm, just east of the Great Valley House in what is now known as Wilson Farm Park, a public park in Chesterbrook.
