The Great Valley House was built over three hundred years ago into bed rock near the banks of the Little Valley Creek, which flows through Valley Forge National Historic Park. The house rests on four landscaped acres, surrounded on all sides by additional acres of open fields, providing a lovely country setting. A secluded retreat, bed and breakfast visitors are welcome to enjoy the grounds and view the beauty of nature when walking on the adjacent 20 acres of protected open space.
If guests wish to relax outside the house, there are two patios and a large front porch … or the swimming pool. The private park -like setting of the swimming pool encourages guests to relax with a favorite book, a swim or an afternoon nap. The swimming pool is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9 AM – 9 PM.
